ID & Ownership Verification Policy

Kwik Buyback verifies seller identity and device ownership indicators to reduce fraud and help prevent lost or stolen devices entering our inventory.

What we may verify

• Valid Kuwait Civil ID, passport or another acceptable identity document.
• IMEI, serial number and other device identifiers.
• Removal of Apple Find My, Google FRP, MDM or other activation/ownership locks.
• Reasonable evidence that the seller owns or is authorised to sell the device.

When we may refuse a purchase

We may refuse if identity cannot be verified, identifiers appear altered, the device is reported lost/stolen, ownership is unclear, or an activation lock cannot be removed.

Records

Verification information may be retained securely with the transaction record for legal, accounting, audit and fraud-prevention purposes.
