Prepare your phone, tablet, MacBook or smartwatch before selling in Kuwait: back up data, sign out, remove activation locks, reset safely and prepare for handover.
Before You Hand Over Your Device
Complete these steps to protect your personal information and make device verification faster.

Back up important data
Save photos, contacts, documents and important files to iCloud, Google, a computer or another trusted backup.

Sign out of your accounts
Sign out of Apple Account / iCloud, Google and other important personal accounts before resetting.

Remove activation locks
Disable Find My on Apple devices, remove Google FRP and remove any MDM or corporate-management lock.

Unpair connected devices
Unpair Apple Watch, smartwatches, earbuds and other linked accessories where applicable.

Remove SIM and memory cards
Take out physical SIM and memory cards, and review eSIM settings before wiping the device.

Factory reset safely
After your backup and account removal are complete, use the correct factory-reset procedure for your device.
During Verification
Kwik may ask you to unlock the device temporarily to verify functionality, serial number or IMEI. We do not need access to your personal photos or files.
After Purchase
After purchase, the device is prepared for inventory or resale through Kwik’s internal process. Do not rely on the buyer to protect your data for you—complete your own account removal and reset before handover.
Never share passwords, verification codes or unnecessary identity-document copies with private buyers. Use only the verification required for a legitimate transaction.
