When a shop clears stock or a business replaces employee devices, a single description such as “20 phones, good condition” leaves too much uncertain. A structured list helps Kwik review the batch and identify which devices need individual attention.
Start with Kwik’s bulk buyback service and contact Kwik to share the inventory. Confirm eligible models and arrangements before transporting a large batch.
Use one row for each matching group
Group devices only when the model, storage, regional version and condition match. Keep sealed stock separate from opened or used units. For damaged units, add a separate row even if they are the same model.
- Device category and exact brand/model.
- Storage or variant and regional version where relevant.
- Quantity and condition.
- Functional faults and previous repairs.
- Accessories included and ownership or management status.
- Contact person and preferred handover arrangement.
For example, do not merge five working tablets and one tablet with a cracked screen into “six good tablets.” A CSV or spreadsheet is useful, but clear, accurate rows matter more than the file format.
Separate sealed, opened and used inventory
Tell Kwik which devices are genuinely sealed and unused, which boxes were opened, and which units were activated or assigned to staff. Do not label an opened display unit as sealed stock. Keep available purchasing or asset records organised for verification without placing personal information in a public listing.
Resolve ownership and business management first
Confirm that your organisation authorises the sale. Ask its IT team to handle device management, enrolment restrictions and employee account removal through the approved process. A device can appear reset while still belonging to an organisational account. Do not include a locked or disputed asset as ready for transfer.
Agree the data preparation responsibilities
Keep necessary business records and verify backups before erasure. Use your organisation’s data handling procedures and the manufacturer’s instructions. If you require a documented wiping or disposal service, discuss that requirement explicitly before the transaction; do not assume an ordinary buyback provides a certified data-destruction service.
Track the batch through inspection and settlement
Maintain an internal inventory of the items sent and handed over. Agree which accessories are included, the inspection process and how any condition differences will be presented. A batch estimate is not automatically a final price for every unit. Confirm the accepted quantities and values in the final agreement and review the payout policy.
Only selling one device? Use the individual quote tool and the condition guide instead.
